Terms of Service

By creating an account you enter an agreement with Tortin LLC(QFC No. 04399, Doha, Qatar) and Tortin Ventures Sàrl(CHE-142.665.855, Vésenaz, Switzerland), together "Tortin".

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. Tortin is not intended for children.

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information.
• One account per person; do not share accounts.

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to use.
• Reverse engineer, scrape or attempt to circumvent access controls.
• Use Tortin to harass, defame or harm others.
• Use the AI tutor to generate content that violates academic integrity policies of your institution.

You retain ownership of everything you upload (sessions, materials, submissions, etc.). You grant Tortin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and process your content solely to operate the service.

We do not use your content to train third-party AI foundation models.

Tortin uses AI to generate tutor responses, draft rubrics and produce suggested grades. AI outputs may be incorrect or incomplete. Professors remain responsible for any grade they release. Students should treat tutor responses as study aids, not as authoritative answers.

Pricing, billing cycles and refund terms are described at point of purchase. We may change pricing on renewal with at least 30 days' notice.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

Deletion is soft: data is held for 30 days so you can change your mind, then permanently removed.

Tortin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that AI outputs will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tortin's aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or CHF 100 if you are on a free plan.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva, Switzerland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
